It is important to have a heavy hammer and use enough force so that you will have a deep punch.

Only punch your BIP39 seed words correspond to numbers (ledger/trezor standard) on to the metal plate so that nobody will ever know what does that number mean without the encryption method you have used, you can access your wallet easily by decrypting the numbers stored in the plate.

HOW TO PUNCH

Step 1

It is recommended to do some sample punches on different metal or in opposite side of the cover plates before punching the actual plate to get an idea about the force to be applied on each stamps to get a better output.

Step 2

Select the number stamps correspond your seed word, draw a straight line with a pencil (not included) over the metal plate so that every number punched will be aligned perfectly. Stick a tape to the plate and attach it to the base block so that the plate won’t move when you punch.

Step 3

Wipe the metal plates and stamps (only the bottom part of stamp) with the lemon wipe included to remove dust or any other substances from it.

Place the metal plate on Jewellers block (not included) apply a small amount of pressure on the stamp with your fingers in downward direction and tap it with the hammer (not included) select the next stamp for the corresponding number repeat the process until each number has finished on first plate, move on to the next plate and repeat the process until the whole number has finished.

HOW TO USE

2 of the plates are to input your seed words correspond to number and you can put up to 12 on each plate, once you have punched cover it with the cover plate (included) and stick it using the tamper sticker ( 4 stickers provided with the purchase with unique serial number on each ).

To add another layer of security insert the finished plates to the envelop (included) and seal it with the tamper sticker then you can either give it to 2 relatives/trusted people (12 seed words each). By this method you have a secondary backup to your wallet, even in emergency situations your wallet will be accessible by the people you trust.

Wallet will only open only if the 2 keys come together.

Decentralised seed stored is advised to be used as a secondary backup we highly recommend that you have your own exact seed phrase saved on a metal plate as a primary backup .
